MBO Partners as an advisor in Ventoniemi bus company’s business acquisition
Ventoniemi Oy’s corporate restructuring in collaboration with MBO Partners continued as Ventoniemi Oy’s subsidiary, Ventoniemen Tilausliikenne Oy, acquired Lehtimäen Liikenne Oy’s charter service business. The business transaction takes place on January 1, 2026. As a result of the acquisition, the charter services operating under the Lehtimäki brand will become part of the Ventoniemi Group.
“Lehtimäki is a strong and traditional brand in the charter market, associated with high-quality service—just like Ventoniemi. With this acquisition, we strengthen our market position and significantly increase our revenue,” says Ville Ventoniemi, CEO of Ventoniemi Oy, describing the benefits of the deal.
Ventoniemi Oy has maintained strong profitability throughout its history, even during the COVID-19 pandemic. After the pandemic-related standstill, the company has grown its revenue to over €10 million. With this acquisition, the Ventoniemi Group aims to reach the €15 million revenue milestone.
