MBO Partners acted as advisor in the share transaction of Keravan Teräsmiehet Oy
MBO Partners acted as the seller’s, Tamm Invest Oy, advisor in the share transaction in which HIMA Capital Oy acquired the entire share capital of Keravan Teräsmiehet Oy in an arrangement implemented on April 30, 2025. At the same time, Tamm Invest Oy sold its factory properties, in which Keravan Teräsmiehet operates and is a tenant, to HIMA Capital Oy.
Keravan Teräsmiehet Oy is a subcontracting company specializing in the production of high-quality sheet metal parts and assemblies for the needs of machine and equipment manufacturers. The roots of the family company date back to 1992, when Unto Tamm founded the company. Keravan Teräsmiehet Oy produces also some own products which account for approximately 30 % of the company’s sales. The company’s turnover in 2024 was about 4.2 MEUR. With the acquisition, Keravan Teräsmiehet will become a sister company of Peltitarvike Oy, owned by HIMA Capital Oy. The strong expertise of Keravan Teräsmiehet Oy in sheet metal work supports the current production and development work of Peltitarvike Oy excellently.
HIMA Capital Oy , is a Finnish family company that owns Peltitarvike Oy. Peltitarvike Oy was founded in 1965 and it is the Finnish market leader in roof gulley and line drainage gutter manufacturing. The company is also a pioneer in developing and manufacturing roof security products. The acquisition combines two strong metal industry players, who will be able to offer their customers even more diverse services. Peltitarvike Oy’s turnover in 2023 was approximately 9.7 MEUR.
